Fait Main Foods was founded by sister duo, Kaylee LaBella Michell and Sophie LaBella. Born and raised in Southern Louisiana, these ladies have always held the culture of cuisine central in their lives. Influenced by her Italian-American and French heritage, Kaylee began cooking savory foods and baking traditional desserts at a young age. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a BA in art education and currently works as an elementary art teacher. She has been honing her visual art skills since 1998. Sophie graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a BA in hospitality management. She is currently working in the New Orleans Central Business District.
Inspired by local culture, the sisters of Fait Main Foods express their culinary creativity using organic seasonal produce. Fait Main (“Fay Ma”) translated from French to English means handmade. Fait Main Foods has been baking professionally since 2018, specializing in artisan baked goods with a focus on custom cookie art in any design, color, or size. Fait Main strives to use as many organic and natural ingredients as possible in their products. You can trust Fait Main to do their absolute best to make your ideas a reality.
